The 3EDGE Conservative Strategy (“the Conservative Strategy”) is a globally diversified, multi-asset portfolio, invested across a wide variety of asset classes and geographies. Investment exposure is achieved primarily through the use of index exchange traded funds (ETFs). The portfolio seeks to focus more on preservation of capital and management of volatility. It may be appropriate for investors who are more risk averse, who may rely on the portfolio for current income or who are investing with a relatively shorter time frame (1-3 years), at least for this component of their overall liquid assets. The Conservative Strategy doesn’t necessarily focus on a particular target range for generating current income through dividends and interest, but rather takes a total return approach. Along with interest and dividends, the Conservative Strategy will also rely on potential capital appreciation as a component of total portfolio returns.
3EDGE Total Return Strategy
The 3EDGE Total Return Strategy (“the TR Strategy”) is a globally diversified, multi-asset portfolio, invested across a wide variety of asset classes and geographies. Investment exposure is achieved primarily through the use of index exchange traded funds (ETFs). The investment objective is to generate long-term capital appreciation and attractive risk-adjusted returns over full market cycles. The TR Strategy may be appropriate for investors who are more focused on longer-term capital appreciation and have a time horizon of more than 3 years, at least for this component of an investor’s overall liquid assets.
3EDGE ESG Strategy
The 3EDGE ESG Strategy (“the Strategy”) seeks to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns through a globally diversified portfolio of ESG-focused Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). It is designed for investors who are interested not only in seeking to generate returns, but also represent their personal values to have a positive, longterm impact on the Environment, Society and the Governance of businesses - hence the term ESG.
ETFs in the Strategy are selected based upon their ESG scores and rankings established by third-party providers such as MSCI. ESG scores are intended to measure each ETF’s constituent company’s stewardship around environmental issues such as climate change and resource scarcity, social issues such as labor practices and product safety and governance issues including board diversity and ethics. In addition, the Strategy focuses on ETFs that own securities of companies that maintain the lowest carbon footprint as measured by the weighted tons of carbon dioxide emissions per million dollars of sales.
